On October 12th we hiked in Yulong Snow Mountain in Lijiang China near Tibet. We are in the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains. We got to dress up in traditional dresses if we wanted to.We also got to ride a yak! Later we went to a museum and studied the culture of the people who have lived in the area for centuries. They have their own system of writing indigenous to their culture. They love to sing and dance and we saw their nightly performance. It was very beautiful and colorful!
